i recently dined at Elliott's Oyster House and had a wonderful experience! the service provided by Francesca was exceptional--she was attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was perfect from start to finish. i'm always a little confused when ordering oysters, but i know the flavor profiles that i enjoy, so i let Francesca know what i like and let her order for me! which was the right choice because i ended up ordering more of the ones she picked for me! all the food we ordered was absolutely delicious. i did find the 20% service charge to be very confusing. as a server myself, clear communication regarding tips is very important -and the way the 20% service charge is currently explained on the menu and website is a bit unclear. it's not obvious whether guests should still tip their server on top of this charge or if it covers the gratuity. despite the confusion, my friends and i had a great time and would recommend Elliott's!

This was the first restaurant we tried in Seattle after taking the city cruise that is literally at the adjacent pier. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and upon arrival the hostess asked us which we preferred. After spending an hour on the cruise in the sun, we decided to sit indoors. We were greeted with water and menus and the service was excellent. The crab cake was a little bit small but it was filled with sweet crab meat. Both chowders were delicious so you can't go wrong with either. In terms of entrees, i would skip the king salmon but i highly recommend getting the scallops with risotto. They had many choices for desserts but by that time we were very full so we shared the creme brulee. Highly recommend this restaurant for tourists and locals alike.

Wow! Amazing! Incredible! Best service received in 2024!! For my birthday dinner we decided on Elliott's Oyster House and were blown away by the service of BEN. We were immediately attended to and given a great spot in the bar area despite a massive wait and packed house on a Thursday. We started off with an oyster selection from our server Ben who explained the selections and helped us with instructions, Especially for those that had never eaten oysters. Next we received a seasonal entree list along with the main menu. Incredible selection of food and a very large seating area on the edge of the water. I ended up going with an incredible king River Salmon that melted in my mouth and was shared with 3 others in our party due to how amazing it was. We were taken care of throughout the 1.5 hours with every detail and nuance being taken care of. Culminating with a end of dinner elixir and a to die for crème brûlée HIGHLY RECOMMEND ELLIOTT'S and ask for BEN if you want a server in the top 5% of his craft. INCREDIBLE, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Elliott's Oyster House is a wonderful seafood restaurant located right on the waterfront of Pier 56. With gorgeous sweeping views of the Puget sound, this classic Seattle establishment has such a warm and inviting ambiance with a beautifully decorated nautical themed dining room and oyster bar. They carry 24-26 varieties of oysters and have such a delicious rotating menu. The service is excellent and their team members are so attentive. This is always a spot on our Seattle food tour!

We had a fantastic dinner and service here. Started with a dozen raw oysters that our waiter helped curate and loved all of them. They were excellent! Enjoyed a glass of the Muscadet wine with the oysters at another Yelpers suggestion and it was perfect. If you like steak, try their ribeye. It was beautifully marinated and grilled and very tender. Our waiter was kind enough to offer split plating of our Halibut entree and the steak for a modified surf and turf that was really enjoyable. We had a glass of the Beaujolais wine with this course and it was very good too. The bill came to $290 for two of us which included a ridiculous 20% service fee of $43 and our waiter only gets 12% of that amount or $5.13 so we tacked on another $10 for him. Supposedly, waiters get some commission but it's not clear how that works. This model of lining the restaurant owners pockets after already expensive meals is really off putting. We will not be back for that reason.

From Texas all the way to Seattle and ended up at this heavenly utopia of seafood! This place is SERIOUS about their seafood and their service! The Salmon made me feel like a bear, having just awoken from a long hibernation, laying streamside, with a full belly of fresh caught bliss! Oysters were worthy of considering a permanent move for! Gabby is the best and graciously offered her expert knowledge of the variety of oysters available, and made the whole visit worthy of memories for years to come!

It's has been years since I last visited. Oysters are still good. Cioppino disappeared in this much simplified menu. I made reservation. That's a good idea for summer weekends. A dozen of raw oysters was perfect as before. Excellent presentation with many dipping choices. There's carprese-like salad with all the usual ingredients, but add pistachio on top. Very nice. Blackened Ahi Tuna was medium rare side, tender, well flavored. Copper River Salmon was superb, as expected. (It's probably the most ordered item.) The clam appetizer was on the salty side. We sat outside on this lovely day. Seattle does not get better than this. Alas, the grill skewed scallops was not skewed or fresh. Kind of ruined the dinner.

During my trip to Seattle, I decided to visit Elliott's Oyster House twice. First visit (Saturday, 6/8/24, around 3 PM): I was able to dine inside of the restaurant. The restaurant was spacious and had a lovely aesthetic in terms of the ambiance. Jeremiah was my server. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. I also appreciated his friendliness, attentiveness, and hospitality. As far as oysters, I ordered the Taylor Virginica, Olympic, and Sunseeker. Whereas all of them tasted great, I favored the Taylor Virginica the most. I also had a bowl of Clam Chowder. It was beyond flavorful and one of the best Clam Chowders I had in a while. Second visit (Monday, 6/10/24, around 8 PM): I was able to dine outside. The scenic views of the waterfront were breathtaking. Kim was my server. She was super pleasant and kind. Her sweet spirit enhanced my entire dining experience. As far as oysters, I ordered the Penn Cove, Royal Miyagi, and Eld Inlet. All of them did not disappoint. If I had to pick a favorite, it was the Eld Inlet. I also had to get the bowl of Clam Chowder again. Overall, Elliott's Oyster House offers the freshest and tastiest oysters. I loved how there was a huge variety on the menu. Not only that, the Clam Chowder was undeniably delicious. Great customer service! I highly recommend coming here.
